Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 25 July 2026

1. Cronwake is currently free

Cronwake is in beta and provided free of charge. Billing is switched off: there is no checkout, no card details are collected, and nothing is charged. This policy is published in advance so that the terms are known before any payment is ever possible, and it will apply to paid subscriptions once billing is introduced.

2. Who you buy from

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

In practice this means Paddle is the seller for your purchase, issues your invoice, collects any applicable tax, and processes cancellations and refunds. Cronwake itself is provided and licensed to you by Nicolas Dolegieviez EI (entrepreneur individuel, SIREN 820 913 168, Lyon, France).

3. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel a paid subscription at any time, with no cancellation fee and without having to give a reason. Use the “Manage subscription” link in your Paddle receipt email, or write to us at cronwake@gmail.com and we will point you to it.

Cancelling stops future renewals. Your subscription then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and access continues until that date. Cancelling does not by itself refund the period already paid.

4. Refunds

If something is wrong, ask. Refund requests are reviewed case by case by Paddle as Merchant of Record, and Paddle may issue a full or partial refund where a request is made within 14 days of the transaction. Because Paddle is the seller of record, the final decision on a refund is Paddle’s, under its published refund policy. We will support any request we consider legitimate, and we would rather refund you than keep money from someone the product failed.

Renewal payments after the first period are generally not refunded, since cancelling before the renewal date prevents them. Refunds may also be refused in cases of fraud, abuse of the refund process, or breach of our Terms of Service.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Paddle states that refunds are processed within 14 days.

5. Your statutory rights come first

Nothing in this policy limits or removes any right you have by law. Where you benefit from a statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation, that right applies regardless of what this page says.

Concretely, if you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the United Kingdom, you keep a 14-day right of withdrawal on a subscription even if you have already started using Cronwake. We do not ask you to waive it and we will not claim you lost it. If you withdraw within those 14 days, we may keep an amount proportionate to the period during which the service was available to you, and the rest is refunded.

Cronwake is offered to professionals acting in the course of their business (see section 3 of our Terms of Service), and statutory consumer rights do not always extend to business purchases. Whether they apply to you depends on the law of your country and on the capacity in which you bought. If you believe you have such a right, tell us and we will not stand in your way.

6. Free plan and beta

The free plan is, and stays, free: there is nothing to refund. Organizations that installed Cronwake during the beta keep Team at half price for as long as they stay, as stated on our pricing page. If a paid plan later applies to you, you will be told before you are charged, and you will be able to decline and stay on the free plan.

7. How to reach a human

For anything about billing, cancellation or a refund, write to cronwake@gmail.com. We are a one-person operation, so replies come from a person, usually within a couple of business days. You can also contact Paddle directly from the receipt or from paddle.net, where purchases can be looked up and refunds requested.
